what do you think about this product?
« on: January 16, 2007, 07:42:48 PM »

I'm thinking about using this for my hair when i get it braided. My aunt told me i should try it because it helped grow her hair out alot and when she took her braids down her hair was so soft with hardly any breakage and LOTS of new growth. She also has a big problem with dryness and breakage so i was really suprised and of course she kept bragging about it lol..it also contains no mineral oil

heres what the can says

Fantasia ic hair polisher olive moisturizing sheen spray
*hydrates,nourishes, conditions, dry, damaged hair

I'd want to see the list of ingredients.  So many products promise moisture but contain stuff that will ultimately dry your stuff out or build up.

I 've used it on my braids when I had them...but I used it just as an oil sheen not for moisture.  I also spritzed my hair at night with a homemade braid spray and I used that in the morning.  I never had any problems from it....but I would suggest using other stuff in addition to that for moisture.
extremely thick, kinky, coils and curls that have a mind of thier own.
