A few months ago, I was checking out Afrobella's website and found out about quite a few natural skincare/hair care companies that she mentioned in her blog. One of them that really stood out to me was BelleButters, mainly because of how Patrice raved about the Mint Chocolate Hair/Body Butter. I purchased a sample (should've gotten the 8 oz. jar; it smells like York Peppermint Patties/Junior Mints), as well as a sample of the Orange Dream Cream Butter and a 16 oz. jar of the whipped shea butter scented like Victoria's Secret's Strawberries & Champagne. That scent was very accurate. I won't worry too much about running out of my VS body spray.
Anyway, I tried it on medium sized twists (on freshly washed hair) and they came out bouncy, frizz free and fragrant. I'm preparing to get more Mint Chocolate Hair/Body Butter for the winter. Hopefully, Tasha will have a 16 oz. jar available by then *fingers crossed*. As far as the Orange Dream Cream sample, it smelled more like mandarin oranges & shea butter, not like the "dreamsicle" scent that I had expected, but it gave my twistout some hold, which was more important. I'm sure I have some fragrant oil around my house to blend with and make it smell more like a Dreamsicle.
