I recently tried Curls Milkshake on my 2 y/o's hair and it worked the best of anything!

I can find it just about anywhere. grocery store, drug store, target, salon etc. It's about 12 bucks, but it will last for months. Lots of curly ladies like it. BTW I like your new avatar!

Thanks!  Maybe I will buy some and "test" it out before I try it on the baby.

Spiderlashes:I love Curls Milkshake.  I never would have thought of using it on a baby, but it makes sense.

My daughters hair is dry as well. I have been using paul mitchell baby but planned not too any longer. I also just started using shealoe w/evoo. I freshly washed yeasterday and applied some shealoe w/evoo and it was dry he next day.

HELP!!!!!!!
And isn’t long hair a woman’s pride and joy? For it has been given to her as a covering.

Obviously I'm not the expert or I wouldn't be asking questions, but what kind of conditioner are you using on her hair?  Is it the Paul Mitchell Baby?  How old is she?

I use Curly Q's Hydrated Shampoo/Coconut Dream Conditioner/Quenched Moisturizer and Curly Q Custard on my 2 year old and I love it.  I only wash her hair with poo once a month and co-wash with the conditioner (in-between) and her hair loves it.

I have been all over online looking for a group discussion on baby's hair that is dry. My 2 year old daughter has the dryest hair I think I have ever seen. We have tried a multitude of products, but nothing seems to do the job. The shea butter, even used in a small quanitity, makes her hair look greasy, and other products with conditioners make her hair look limp with no body to it. Her hair is curly, but needs a shampoo or other product that helps with moisturizing the hair, any ideas? I just read about your recommendation of Abbas, is that good for a 2 year old? I also was told by a friend today, about a product called itsy bitsy spirals, but can't see to find it anywhere. Would appreciate any tips, thanks!

I'm still no expert on this.
I see that you've tried conditioners.  Have you tried condition washing her hair and then leaving a little in.
I'm not sure where in the country you are, but its cold here in New York, and maybe you could try a little conditioner, sealed in with olive oil, and keep her hair braided so it won't be exposed to the elements.
