Baby Buttercreme

4 Stars.  Excellent moisturizer.  I had tried the original buttercreme previously and was thoroughly unimpressed.  The scent was a little too strong for me, and I wasn't crazy about the tingling feeling it gave (good for my tea tree shampoo, not for my moisturizer).

So, I decided to try the BB.  A little bit goes a long way.  I've used it it two ways, applying it to my ends to keep them moisturized and using it along on dry twists.  It left my dry twists looking super shiny and silky without being greasy.  I had a lady comment on them and ask if she could touch them...and she said she was surprised how soft it felt.

Will remain a staple.

I really like this one.  It's one of the few moisturizers that stands up to the harsh Chicago winter.  It's very costly and some of the ingredients are yucky, but its a good moisturizer overall.  I haven't done twists w it yet, but I've used it for out hair and moisturizing twists w great results.  A little goes a very long way.  4 stars

This worked very well for my daughter's hair.  The price is crazy but it did last a long time.  Some of the ingredients make me raise my brow. 4 stars

I gave it 4 stars. I like the way that it makes my hair feel soft and "supremely" hydrates my curls. But it is very expensive, and is certainly not a product that would work in my hair all year round because it contains mineral oil in it.

Updated Rating:  This is my HG twisting product.  My hair is soft, shiny, and moist not just on Day 1, but the entire time I wear the twists.  Because of this, they last longer b/c I don't have to spritz or rinse.  My only concern is the price tag.  I was lucky enough to get a sample from a buddy and a nearly full jar in a swap, but I don't know if I'll be willing to spend $58 when I run out.

0 stars.

Sucked.  Sat on top of my hair, didn't make it soft or moisturized.  $58 down the damn drain.  >:(
