Curls Spiral Curl Cream

Ok, so, I finally got around to trying the reformulated sample. I remember now why I don't care for this product for my hair...it reduces volume something fierce and it's VERY defining, which I don't need. At this stage, I really like the volume in my hair. Also, compared to other stylers I've tried, this one doesn't leave my hair feeling as soft as whipped cream or bb stylers.
It does virtually eliminate frizz in my head, but, I've been having minimal frizz since I started cowashing with aloe and adding aloe to my leave-in.
I would have to give it 3 stars at most. I prefer the Curls whipped cream, Organics Texture My Way and BB stylers to this one.

It always amazes me how our hair will respond differently to products but looks nearly identical! @

This stuff doesn't reduce volume at all for me, in fact, it adds to it. If I want non-scultpted-fluffy-curls, I'll reach for this. It's best to use CURLS Quenched or some liquid leave in underneath to encourage spreadability. The only drawback is b/c of the cones and emulsifying wax, it sometimes dries dull. My hair can only take those ingredients in small doses so this could never be a HG, but it's still a good product overall. I do prefer the Organics Lotion for its price and dependability. 4 stars.

I give it 3 and a half.
It was the first curls product i used and it took me a while to figure out how much i needed to use on my hair - turns out i only needed a tiny amount, which is good cause my hair is quite thick and reaches the bottom of my shoulder blades so one bottle can last me a couple of months.
I like the consistancy, it goes on well and dries nice, my only drawback is the smell, which is a shame cause all the other products i have tried so far (milkshake, souffle, curlicious cleansing cream) smell really nice.
When i use it with milkshake i get good hair days every time.

I give it 2.5 stars. It was 'eh' for me, but did give me soft fluffy hair, which I actually don't need. But when I want to rock the 'fro full on, I'll reach for it. Scent is ok.

I still have the original formula of the Spiral Cream. It's not my favorite and it gives me too much hold but I keep it around as a hard time product!

I gave it 4 stars! This is definitely a staple for me! But I find that because it is the least moisturizing of all the other Curls Cream's I mainly prefer to uise it when the weather is warm and humid outside, when my hair sweats the most. This stuff replaces gel for me when I need extra frizz protection and hold of course. It penetrates in my hair fairly quickly, and its new scent is much more agreeable with my sinuses than its older version.

5 Stars: I love this product, especially with curls milkshake. It eliminates frizz, by defining my curls.

2.5 stars for softness, moisturization and curl/coil definition.
Sucked at controlling frizz and weighed my hair down.

I like this product, but i have not used it alone. I have used it with curls milkshake. I like them both together. Less frizz and soft. I believe it's the spiral curl cream that give me a little hold when I use this product.
