Curls Goddess Glaze
« on: August 09, 2006, 10:12:18 AM »
I still need to experiment with this further but so far I'm not all that impressed. For me, it's another one of those over defining products, especially if I use it alone.  It seems to really enhance curls and has a bit of a strong hold....I may have used too much. I don't like the packaging either, I find this to be more of a liquidy, messy product and would like to see it packaged in a bottle vs. a jar.  The smell is weird to me too.  I hate that b/c I've had ALOT of luck with Curls products, but it could be that my hair has been acting a fool here lately...like I said, I'll keep experimenting.

I'm right there with you.

Only difference is that while i ordered the Goddess Glaze,  I was sent the Princess Glaze.  Same ingredients.  But slightly less hold.  Yes, it's messy, too liquid for a jar and seems to really dry me out..leaves my hair feeling very dry and a bit hard.

But unlike you, I have not had success with *any* of the Curls products I've tried.  The owner said I could return the Princess Glaze if I wanted for a full refund since she sent me the wrong product.  So, I might just send it back...she said she could send me the Goddess Glaze if I still wanted to try that, but if I didn't like the Princess Glaze, I probably wouldn't like the Goddess Glaze either.

I really wanted to like her products... :(

Me, too. I was quite disappointed especially as Mahisha was very helpful in answering my questions. I tried about 5 of her products. I've heard a lot of good reviews about the new ones, but as all those  I tried are awful on my hair, I won't bother trying any more.

Sorry :( that you gals had such bad luck with Curls Goddess Glaze, as well as some of the other Curl's products. Hope you all have better luck in finding the right styling styling products for your hair, the next time around! ;)

I actually got this product along with Milkshake and used both this morning and loved my results.  I applied Milksake as leave in, then layered with Fantasia IC and topped it off with a light coating of Glaze.  I liked the finish the Glaze gave, or the combination of the three products I should say.
