Lately, adding a little more leave-in (of the liquid variety) to that section before any of the other products decreases the changes of fuzz.

I have been using BB kick for curls on my fuzzy part and it seems to be working well, but i spray it on when it's drying that way i can tell exactly how fuzzy it is

It is my crown as well, fuzzy to all get out!!! It drives me nuts I was thinking about cutting it off and starting all over again.  I come to realize that this won't help so I am trying to find products that will help to deal with it... I may have to try BB.  :brow:

yep, my crown

I have a love/hate relationship with my crown.
Right now we're love birds again
Soon, we'll be enemies
We've been in this vicious cycle ever since I transitioned

I have a homemade hair butter that I use (shea, cocoa & mango butter) that helps keep my crown really smooth & manageable :)

I will always be grateful to you for being the first curly head I saw that used butter regularly all down the length of your hair.  It's really helped my crown tremendously.  Since I've been using this butter in that manner my crown even feels much better and responds better to just about everything that I use.

I have the fuzzy crown or the "unruly crown" coined by Amber. I have never really paid much attention to it until now.  It only gets completely out of control a couple of days after I wash. It always feels like brillo. Even when I have twists in, the ends there feel aweful and I don't think they curl the way the rest does. I am forever trying to moisturize this area and trim it to keep the ends soft but it is just coarse.

I may have to find a special product for the area. Even with that extra heavy curl pudding stuff I used in my experiment my crown was doing it's own thing.

Fuzzy hair

Currently in serach of the best conditioner so I can go Bohemian.

Finally loving my curls and not apologizing for it.

i have a problem with frizzy hair too,i have too much frizz, the HN doesn`t cause shrinkgae for me i think, but i think my 3B hair from the ear to the front elongates but it just shows curl definition for the rest of my hair 3c and little 4A,when my hair is wet the 3B hair looks more like corkscrews, and when i apply product it looks more like waves then curls, sometimes my 3B behaves.I was told to be careful when i apply product: don`t rub it in but make sure to get it at the ends someone did this to pervent frizz,or comb the product through the wet hair and hope that it won`t be frizzy.it works for alot of people but it worked better when i spray my dry hair then apply product but i want to do it on wet hair i need to find the best product for my hair, right now i`m spraying my hair with condtioner/water/olive oil.

Fuzzy hair

yes... that is EXACTLY what my crown does... i just don't have a good enough camera to photograph it like that!  people think my hair always looks perfect in my pics but IRL my hair looks like that most of the time.  sometimes i will add extra product and manipulate it, but most of the time i just live with it.

Thanks yellagrlwithcurls. I love it but sometimes I just want to get rid of that crown.

My crown frizz a lot and doesn't seems to curly no matter what I do. I try wetting it like a million times before I leave the house and applying more leave-in and moisturizer to that area to as soon as it dries it gets fuzzy all over again so now I just try to ignore it
