Curls Goddess Glaze

I love this gel!  Brings out the clumps and lasts all day.  Shine, hold, definition.

I gave it 4 stars. It is a great gel for slicking your hair back as well as using it to give your curls added hold and frizz protection.

I had to give it 4 stars only because, I wish that it was in a squeeze bottle instead of a open-mouthed jar. You would be able to get a better appplication that way.

I'm giving it a 3.  It works OK but isn't anything special.  I can get products at Sally's or the drugstore that do just as well for less money.  And I really don't like that it's in a jar. That makes it messy, prone to spilling and prone to "contamination" from whatever is on my hands.

1 Star  I used Elucence MBC as leave-in with the Glaze over it.

Define hair - yes
Shine - not much

Left my hair feeling dried out to the touch.  I did not use a lot and I suspect that if I had not used the Elucence, it would have been worse.

I won't throw it out (as I did with the Aveda samples) but I am still not sure how to use it or if I need to try it again with Happy Nappy under it.

Either way, tomorrow will be back to my old faithful lineup of Elucence and BB

UPDATE (10Apr07) - Tried it with Happy Nappy, same effect, my hair was dry and not happy, reduced my rating to 1 star.

Ehhh...I could take it or leave it.

I wasn't enthused about the packaging for the consistency and I feel I have used other products that gave better hold and shine.

I'll give it 2.5 stars.

I give it 1 star.

This gel made my hair look a hot mess!  Did nothing, nada, zip, zero.  I actually gave away a FULL jar.

Heya Curlilocs, I remember you, as to your hair, it is hot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and out of site, beautiful :-).    I used the goddess Glaze myself and all it did was dry it out and tangle my hair, I used it in conjunction with the milkshake.  Yuck.  I like the HoneyBrush Hair Tea Gel for me that is as it adds moisture and does not tangle my hair and has light but nice hold.

4.5 stars.

It does everything I want it to do - provide soft, shiney frizz free coils/curls.  I also get nice second day hair too.  I left off half a star, because I need to use a harder holding gel on top of it to dry quicker and using too much makes my hair soft and floppy.  Other than that it's a keeper.

It kind of reminds me of Elasta QP Smooth As Silk gel.
