thanks ladies!  I'm updating my album right now, so the pictures I referred to in my earlier post are up now.  It's not much now, just the 3 sample locks and this mass of loose hair.  She told me she puts her sample locks in the middle all the time so that it will blend in with the rest of her clients' hair.  It made sense, but I was prepared for her to do it near the bottom or the front and I would have just worn a puff until my install.  That's what I'm doing anyways.

I'll probably run out and get some shampoo tomorrow and a few other things so that I'm prepared.  I've been watching a lot of youtubers with sisterlocks lately and reading threads on lots of forums and looking at fotkis when I know my ass needs to be studying!!!

I'll let you guys know how the install went and of course notify ya'll when those pics have been added to my fotki.

thanks for all the support!

It's amazing how small the locks are.  They're beautiful Shortycocoa.  You have a lot of hair girl.  How long did it take?

Thanks, Imla!  My consultant, Roni, said the same thing about me having a lot of hair.  It took five days when she initially projected it would only take 3 days.  She said it didn't make any sense how much hair I have and that she NEVER had to add more days to somebody's install session.  When she was on the last few rows she said freedom was around the corner.  That's exactly how I feel, too.

She said I won't have to sit that long again.  Somebody asked me how many locks I have but I don't know yet.  I'll have to count them next week when I wash my hair again.

At one point last week when Roni finished doing the back middle section she said I had 100 locks just in that one section alone.  At the time that was the third section she had finished.  Now that I think about it, she basically did a section each day.

It was all worth it, though!  The water felt nice on my scalp when she washed my hair, and to feel the breeze flowing through the locks was also nice after I left.

I almost feel like I BC'd again.   ;D
