I gave this stuff 1 star! And that's was only because I think that its consistency isn't really that bad. It's just that its performance in my hair is not to my liking, one bit! Now, I tried this stuff when I began transitioning. And, all I can say is that it flaked, left my curls feeling dry, and it gave me a substantial amount of frizz, no matter how little I would use. After trying time after time to get this stuff to work, I just had to end up throwing out the 2 bottles that I had bought.

Also its scent kind bothered my sinuses too.

2.5 stars.  Angell I could take it or leave it.  When I layer it with all the other products as suggested, I get decent looking big hair with some curls that pop.

The downside, I HAVE to use it with all the other products and layer it as suggested, otherwise my hair feels like straw.  I want to be able to mix and match products, and I am not fully dedicated to Devacurl products like that.

It's OK.  But I can find plenty of other stuff that works as well or better for a lot cheaper and offline.

I love the way my hair looks with this, but the feel is just strange.  Straw-like as Kinkerbelle stated.

Update:  I'm thinking the straw-like feel can be more attributed to "The Great Horrible" B'Leave-In that I combined it with.
