I really like the smell of this conditioner and it proved to be very moisturizing. I used it to condition after a conditioner wash with White Rain today and I left about a quarter size amount in. Nothing else. My hair is fully dry and it is so fluffy, soft and springy! It did give me some shrinkage but I could care less about that. I mention it because I know this is important to some people.
I took off one star because of the detangling. When I first applied it I could not immediately run my fingers through my hair so I left it in under a plastic cap while I showered. When I tried to detangle again (it had been sitting for about 25-30 minutes) it was easier, but I still had to work at it for awhile. Detangling is crucial for me as my hair is prone to tangles as it's growing out some.
I think this conditioner would be superb for anyone who doesn't have as strong a need as I for detangling. It is CG friendly and only costs around $5.
