AO Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner
« on: May 23, 2007, 02:13:02 pm »
I give this 4 stars. Was tempted to give it 5, but I've only used it twice so far and want to see how well it performs over time.

This is the only conditioner I've tried where I felt it working immediately. As soon as I applied it to my hair, I could feel all the tangles coming apart. Initially, I thought it might be too heavy (I usually prefer watery conditioners and this stuff is super-thick), but the conditioner just melted into my hair (maybe the shea butter?). It might be too rich/heavy for me to use as a leave-in, but as long as it performs well as a rinse-out conditioner, I'm happy.

3c/4a; O/S, thick, spongy.

Wow, I didn't realize this didn't have a thread. 5 stars.  This is a HG conditioner for me. I can use it straight, but for the price, I usually end up mixing it with a few others for detangling my hair. I've been using this for six or eight months and at this point, I can't say that I ever want to be without a bottle of this in my shower.

5 stars....the only con to this for me that it's not available in larger sizes (liter, gallon).  I agree with susu's assestment.  It's effects are felt immediately.

I took one off for the smell.  Other than that, I found this conditioner very moisturizing and detangling.
Keeping it simple.

I'm not going to rate this yet because I used it only once so far.  Are you all using it as a leave-in or a rinse-out only?  I shampooed my hair, conditioned with HSR, rinsed it out and added some more HSR as a leave-in.  And I put a little gel on top...as I do with just about everything.  And I was a little underwhelmed.  I didn't find particularly moisturizing.  (I love SheaMoisture so much more!)  So am I doing something wrong?  So many of you like it...

I'll be back in a week or so to rate it.

^Rinse out only.  I think it's a bit too rich for leave in.  But maybe your hair just doesn't like it!  It doesn't have to you know, LOL!

I saw the HSR the other day and I almost bought it but I saw this and bought it instead, .

I like it so far, but I don't think anything compares to TJ Nourish.

5 Stars!!

I have used this a couple of times and I was immediately impressed by this conditioner.  When I first saw it, I was a little nervous because it looked like cake icing and something my grandmother used to use.  But I will tell you the truth....it is very moisturizing and has so much needed slip for ease of detangling.  I am not a regular user because it is hard for me to find locally.  And something as common as this, I refuse to order online.

But it is worth talking to my HFS and asking them to carry it and the AO MM.
