BB curl styling lotion
« on: June 14, 2007, 05:26:55 AM »
With the weather getting warmer i found that the past 3 days i did my hair either with Happy Nappy, curly frizz pudding or down and out my hair didn't turn out too well, I have a sample of the styling lotion which, so far I have only used at night when i braid my hair up.
Decided to try it on my hair yesterday when i left it out, and was pleasantly surprised.
It dried pretty quick, ws soft and bouncy but also defined.
I think I may have to stick to this for the warmer months I give it 4.5
reason i'm taking off half a mark is cause i like shrinkage and didn't get it from this.

I like it for the same reasons you do and I agree re: the shrinkage thing.  4 stars from me.

I love this product.  I top it off w/ a little gel, though.  Just a few tenths away from a full 5.

I gave it 3 stars! It does give shrinkage, and is lighter than most of the BB stylers. It does a good job of moisturizing the hair, but it wasn't really effective against frizz at bay. It is a decent product, but it acts more like a moisturizer in my hair than a styler, unfortunately.

I'll give this 4 points!! I take off 1/2 point since it may be not be moisturizing enough for the colder months and another 1/2 point because I have to order it online.

Currently - during the warmer monthhs, this has temporarily replaced BB Happy Nappy as my HG styler. For my hair, it functions much the same as HN, but it a tad bit lighter.... (I apply CFP first and then the SL.)

ETA: I also use the Light Styling Lotion, but only during the cooler months andf then only as a light moisture boost for 2nd/3rd day hair.
