YAY! I finally did it...

Before I tell you what I did yesterday I have to tell you what I've been doing. I have been natural for years. But every time I had something formal to go to I would straighten my hair. I know how to care for hair, but I do not know how to style. So I never trusted my styling skills enough to wear it to something formal. Well yesterday I finally did it yall. I put big flat twist in the front, wore it curly in the back and placed a flower in the twists. I looked, If I may say so myself, gorgeous. Please don't yell at me guys. I forgot my camera at home and didn't take any pictures. I am madder at myself than yall could ever be, best believe. But I am still proud of myself. and for me.

  Yay, I am sooooooo glad for you.    Now, I am in a bit of a pickle.  I am going to my boyfriend's family reunion in three weeks: Do you think that two strand twists can be formal?

I think so. The only reason I never did natural styles was because I didn't know how to do them and there are not a lot natural stylist here. But, I learned this weekend that if you hair is neat and put together and you clothes/shoes are on point and the accessorize are there then you still can look fierce with natural hair.
