My Honey Child Type 4 Hair Creme

I tried out a sample of this with some really high expectations considering the $$$ and overall, I was disappointed more than impressed.  But I don't believe it was because of the product itself, more that is was the wrong product for my particular head of hair.

I put it over the Herbal Cocktail Leave-In on the 4A sections of my hair as the owner advises, and allowed my hair to air dry.  It is extremely moisturizing and the smell is clean and not overwhelming.  My hair dried really soft, slightly greasy and looking like a Jherri Curl.  A little goes a very long way.  I used about a quarter size amount for half of my head.

It was just way too heavy for my hair.  Denser, coarser hair types would probably love this.
Keeping it simple.

Hey Gabby, I tried this about 2 years ago.  The type 2 cream actually worked better for my hair.  I see some similarities with our hair texture so I'm thinking you might have better luck with the type 2 or 3 cream or a mixture of the two. Her "type" hair creams aren't formulated according to the numbering systems we're used too.

I'm experimenting with the Type 2 now.  It feels much lighter than the 3, but my hair weighs down so easily, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed  :)
