Cure Care Conditioner
« on: October 30, 2007, 06:07:28 AM »
Picked this up at Sally's. It's a moisturizer for hair and skin. It makes an EXCELLENT co-wash. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and it always delivers soft, silky hair, and adds definition. Excellent slip too. They offer a gallon size and I'll probably purchase it once I finish w the co-washes I have. 5 stars!

This makes a GREAT leave in too.  Either stand alone or underneath stylers (especially heavy/creamy/buttery products).  It's my key to making Qhemet Amla & Olive Heavy Cream work for out hair.  Also good for wet twisting.  ;D

Although I LOVED the smell of this, I found that it gave me super, duper shrinkage and frizz on wet hair and couldn't be seen at all on DRY hair.

How are you using it?

I use it on wet, damp, or dry hair for twists, on damp hair underneath this conditioner for shake n go's, and on wet hair as a leave in for extra moisture w gels.

5 Stars

Okay, I picked this up yesterday at Sally's and I have to agree it really is a great inexpensive conditioner.  :)  I used it this morning as both a detangler and leave-in.  It worked great and is moisturizing.  Like you, I intend to get the gallon size as well.  I'm happy, because I was trying to find a cheap replacement for the DDTA.  After I use up the bottles underneath my sink, that's it.  Finally, a better replacement.

I used some Alagio Curl Enhancer Balm over it, but didn't like the results.  :(

I rewashed my hair and used a different conditioner which I'll post in another thread.  :)

Gotta say....I love it, I love it, I love it.  It's perfect for a cowash.  Gonna buy the gallon for $7.29 and the pump for $2 bucks and call it a day when I'm done with this one.

I'm giving it a 5 and I don't do that often :)

My scalps been itching...I stopped using this for the last week and no itching.  I'm not gonna be able to keep it up.  I really did like it a lot though.

I'll have to agree with the 5 star rating.  I also plan to get the gallon size with the pump and leave it at that.  I AM kinda worried about the protein content though.  So far so good....I'll let you all know if my hair starts to freak out (hopefully not cause this stuff is super duper cheap!)

Is this conditioner a good detangler?
1 Samuel 16:7
But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

When I first read the post, I went to Sally's a purchase the gallon and a pump. The total cost for both was $ 9.49. I use this for cowashes and sometimes for lotion for my skin.

Good stuff!

Again Ms. Jazzi has intro'd a winner. :D

I love it for cowashing also.  I can detangle my hair with my fingers using this one!!  Now days when I walk into Sally's the girls there ask..."did u hear about another product on ur hair boards".

Next trip I will have to invest in the gallon size and pump.
