3 StarsI used Alagio this morning on top of some Cure Conditioner I left as a leave-in. I didn't like it.
I mean it wasn't bad, but it's needs to be mixed with a gel. It gives great hold and crisp curls/coils, but they weren't shiney/sheeny. My hair looked the way it does when I just let it airdry with conditioner.
So, I rewashed my hair, this time using Aveda Smooth Infusion Conditioner for detangling and as a leave-in (separate review for this later
). I re-applied the Allagio again, this time mixing it with Abba Nourishing Pure Volume Gel. The results were AMAZING!
My coils were crisp, shiney, and frizz free. Not crunchy at all. I don't know if it was a combination of all three products - Aveda Smooth Infusion Cond, Alagio/Abba gel mix or what, but my hair looks very pretty. I don't have pics, because I need to charge my camera. Maybe later on this evening.
By itself, I don't like it (but you might), but mixed with a good gel the results are fab.
