I just wrote them as well. I hope hearing from all of us will make a difference.

I am going to have to make a trip to TJ to stock up. I would hate to be without this stuff.

What Cactus debacle?

A lot of posters, on NC especially, did an email campaign urging Rasta Locks to change the Cactus leave in back to its original formula. First they said they wouldn't (and that the loose curly market were not who they were aiming the product at anyway), then they said they would reformulate. They did that, but then reformulated again, to include some cheap ingredients like mineral oil. It was a MESS, and I personally hope their business suffers after treating their customers with such conniving and contempt.  ;)

Say it ain't so!  That's one of my favorites  :'(

But the good thing is Giovanni Smooth as Silk delivers the same results for not too much more.  ;D

Hopefully I can get about 5 bottles..

I called up north to a TJ thats about 30min from my
brother and this nice guy answered the phone..
He has 2 bottles now that he's holding for me, because
my brother told me that he maybe able to go there..

The guy told me that a case of 24 is coming in tomorrow or Wed
and that he will be in FL on Thursday and that I could meet him
and purchase them...
He was even nice to read me the entire ingredient list...

I hope the case comes in before he fly down on Thursday...

Damn, I was just about to try to get some of this stuff, too.  Jazzi, I'll try the Giovanni stuff.  I think I remember a post about being able to get it at Target.

The Giovanni 50/50 bottles are kinda small and cost about $11.  Whereas the TJ bottles are about twice the size and cost $2.50.   :-\

There was a site that had Giovanni stuff pretty cheap. I'll have to search for them. But I can't help but think that soon it will be Giovanni that decides to reformulate. Between this stuff and CON (which I don't even like) I am getting paranoid!

Now that I see a picture of that Giovanni, I think I have seen it in my local Target. I may check that out. I did love TJ Nourish Spa Shampoo as well though. What shampoo do you all recommend to replace it? I was thinking I'd have to just go back to DevaCurl Low Poo... but that seems SO expensive now that I had gotten used to only paying 2.49$!

Girl, I live in a constant state of reformulation/discontinuation paranoia.  That's why I started hoarding.  (But I mentioned that on another site.  LOL)  Ugggh, why didn't I hoard this???

Same here! I didn't hear about the Cactus until after it was reformulated. I didn't understand the hype. Then I found out that I had a new bottle (lotion consistency).

This breaks my heart  :'(
If I were to have ONE Holy Grail conditioner in my entire life this would be it. When I had a TWA it was Mango and Lime Cactus which ironically got discontinued also. My boyfriend has super dry with 2c/3a textured curls and this conditioner has been his salvation. Hes not into hair stuff and he thinks I'm a curly lunatic but we fight over the last of the trader joes nourish in the bathroom. I always wondered what the hell they put in that stuff cuz its a miracle for moisture, detangling and definition. I am awestruck that they would F-up such a great product. I'm gon' send them an email and check out Giovanni I still don't feel like it'll give me the same results. Nothing else has  :(
4a/3c  Thick, shrunken, little silky/cottony spirals. Love These: Devacurl One C, Qhemet Burdock Root Leave In, KCCC, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Komaza Coconut Curl Pudding, Dubar Vatika Oil, BB Happy Nappy, TJ Nourish, Lustrasilk Mango DT,

I think the Giovanni 50/50 is an exact match for TJ.  Even the scent is exactly the same.  But it's not nearly as economical.

Blow up the TJ email box, people!  Get your friends to write, use multiple email addies, create new ones, whatever it takes!  LOL
