This is a damn shame.  >:(

It seems like whenever a product gets buzz on the boards, the companies reformulate it with crappy ingredients at a higher price.  I think they're watching us.  :shhh:
1 Samuel 16:7
But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

Same here! I didn't hear about the Cactus until after it was reformulated. I didn't understand the hype. Then I found out that I had a new bottle (lotion consistency).

Hmmm I have a bottle of Cactus Leave-in at home that I haven't tried yet. I don't know if it's new or old formula. How do I tell?

I went to TJ's last night and asked if Nourish Spa conditioner was being discontinued or reformulated. And the manager said no.  She spent about 5 minutes looking through her records...and she said no it was still on order and she hadn't heard anything about that.  She said another hair product (in a blue? bottle) was discontinued.  But that Nourish wasn't.  She said she uses it and it's pretty popular.   There were still plenty of bottles on the shelf.  And I bought several.  I don't know whether or not to believe her.  Maybe she's planning to buy them all when she gets paid or something and doesn't anyone from the outside making a run on them?  LOL  Or maybe Columbus is just way behind the 8 ball so to speak...and that wouldn't be the first time!  So who knows???

So peajai, you might need to drive a little further for your Nourish :P...or I can get you some.  But did you ask at your store?  What was the manager's explanation?

I did ask, but there was a sign up as well. He said they were discontinued and they were all out of the old bottles. I know that alot of companies "test" new products in our Dayton market but according to what he said, we won't be getting any more "blue" bottles.

Uhhhhhhh...the Nourish Spa Conditioner is not in a blue bottle...its in a clear bottle and the contents are white.  I think the stuff in the blue bottle is the Essentials line....completely different from the Nourish line.

*please tell me u ain't caused mass histeria and gotten the products confused ???*

We're talking about the same thing. The Nourish Spa is a clear bottle, white product, blue top.

Ok.  just making sure.  When u said the guy said no more blue bottles....thought maybe you had gotten the two conditioners confused.

Well I got the last 4 bottles on the shelf at the store near my job.  I asked the store manager if it had been discontinued or reformulated also...and he said that he hadnt heard anything.  But that wouldn't be the first time that this has happened....

Well like I said, our Dayton market is popular with companies to test new products because we have a nice cross section of demographics. It is possible that they discontinued it here first to test out their new "Nourishing" line (which comes in a small purple bottle and has Dimethicone). Which is good that means I can still get someone to get it for me, but it may just be a forecast of things to come for everyone else.

Yes, I can...assuming they're still there when I go back.  How many would you like?  There were lots of bottles left.

Columbus is a major test market city, too.  I didn't realize Dayton was.

OK, how many bottles of Nourish is too many???  Does this stuff ever go bad?  I just keep my unopened bottles of conditioner in a dark closet.  Is that OK?

I wish we could get some definitive answer about this product.  I haven't gotten any response (from a live person) from the emails I wrote yesterday.

Ummm well I don't want to seem greedy so maybe like 2 shampoos and 3-4 conditioners? Is that too many? Whatever you can get me will be great! I had given my male friend a bottle (which I will be sure to use every time I go over there) and I only had one bottle for myself. No stockpile. :(

I've kept conditioner in the closet for over a year and it's been fine.
