MyHoneyChild honey hair mask
« on: April 20, 2008, 12:55:05 PM »
give this 5 stars..but more if I could. It took me a while to go ahead and order it as I had read mixed reviews about it was good but not better than Curl Junkie Hibiscus and Banana deep fix - which I also have but I think this is better.

it's quite runny, So I opened the tub thinking to myself " yeah this isn't going to work, I'll get maybe 2 or 3 uses out of it" but it's soo good.
I left it on for maybe a little more than the suggested 30 minutes but my hair was so soft after, and three days later it's still soft.

good:

smells nice
 goes on easily
brilliant results, really did make my hair softer.

bad:

not available in the UK - not really too keen on purchasing from Curlmart but have no idea how much it would be if it attempted to get it from MHC directly.

a bit pricey for the amount.

Haven't tried this.  But if you ever order from MHC personally, she usually runs specials that scroll down in the lower left hand corner of the website.  Look carefully because you could miss it.  She offers 10% off, so that may offset some of shipping if need be.  The last time I saw it said "SEITFREE."  I can't remember if there is a minimum purchase amount though.
3C~medium, s-curls and corkscrews.
S/O, med, thready/cottony

TIGI MM, Qhemet Biologics (True Staple), Castor and EEVO, Jane Carter, and Honey.

Cool thanks for that! I would rather purchase from her personally, I did email her a while ago to find out how much international shipping was and she said she'd get back to me....never did and I was too scared to order and find out shipping was way too much..
but on her site she does have the 16oz Hair mask which I may purchase depending if the results stay amazing  ;D

She has a lot of products on her site and usually does offer the bigger sizes to make it worth your while sometimes.  And she ships VERY fast.  I am surprised that she didn't back to you.  I have had a few email correspondence with her and she is usually very prompt, like within a few hours.  So, I am thinking it may have gotten lost in the email pile.  :-[  I would ask her again, so that she can already figure it out for you, just in case you really like it.  And don't forget that promotion code.  I search for them all the time and will email and ask if they have a current promotion running that I can take advantage of, or if they will have one soon.  Then you can compare which would save you more.  But you might already do this.  Just an FYI.

Thanks, I'll see how I do with this size first and may order the bigger one. I'm trying to cut back on this adding more products to the pile thing, I'm happy though I think I have tried everything I wanted to so hopefully I'll calm down now and just stick to things.

I think I will email her again and just let her know that i would rather purchase from her than curlmart, I wish I had tried her products when I had links and would visit North Carolina..it would have been a lot quicker and  less expensive that this international shipping malarky..LOL

I love this stuff. ;D Definitely great for SOFTENING and MOISTURIZING hair. (Though not a top detangler) The ingredients are great and I love the honey scent. The downside is that I found myself using a lot of it because of its liquidy nature so its pretty expensive for what you're getting. Theres other condishes that can do the job but this stuff is definitely good.

Ditto. 3.5/4 stars for me. If this was available at a B&M store, I'd buy it again.
