MasterCuts Vitamin_C Conditioner
« on: April 10, 2008, 12:53:04 AM »
This conditioner is rarely mentioned, but it's IMO, one of the best conditioners out there if you like thick conditioners of the Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose type. It's a funky orange color and smells a bit like a dream sickle, but in spite of, it's still a very good conditioner. It's another stand alone for me--I don't need to add anything to it. It is certainly not a natural product, but my hair loves it.

Both the conditioner and the deep treatment are great.

Here are the first ingredients:
Water, cetearyl alchol, cetyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, hydrolyzed silk, simmondsia chinesis (jojoba) seed oil, caryocar brasiliense fruit oil, butrospermum parkii (shea butter), cetrimonimum, chloride, behentrimonium chloride, stearyl alcohol...

I think my hair really likes it because it has no proplyene glychol, and has two of my favorite ingredients--the methosulfate and the hydrolyzed silk high on the ingredient list.

The product can only be purchased at MasterCuts hair salons (usually found in your garden variety mall--the sister store to Regis).

Never heard of it, but since my hair tends to like a lot of what yours likes, I'll probably try it when it's time to pick up more conditioner.  Please, keep us posted on how you like it going forward.

Thanks.

I am experimenting with the deep treatment mask and I love it. For the price and the fact that I can buy it local, it is a keep for now :) Great find, and definately overlooked and underrated.

I was in the mall Saturday (Bath & Body Works, baby!) and saw this salon and remembered this thread. The Vit C Cond was 2 for $12 so I got some and co washed with it this morning. LOVE! It smells great and is very moisturizing. It's thicker than it looks in the bottle. Two thumbs up!
