My biggest problem is my hair always feeling so crispy and dry.  It gets so bad that the hair on top, which is normally wavy, straightens out and is a big ball of dry frizz.  If I could find a product/s to moisturize my hair, I'd be so happy.

Amber, sorry that DT experiment didn't go according to plan :(! I promise that Curls Asian Hair Tea Conditioner and Curls Milkshake will work out 100 percent better for you in moisturizing as well as restoring your hair, than the Avocado stuff that you whipped up.

OMGoodness, lol!  I forgot I said I was going to try this stuff!  Well, I'll probably end up getting it on my next purchases.

I tried the BB Styling butter cream and I liked it a lot. I chose the Happy Nappy for my first full size purchase but the butter cream is good stuff too. You don't have to use a lot of it either.

I recommend getting the low poo instead of the no poo.

Also...you should try Shea Moisture shea Butter leave in.  Its good stuff.  Mix it with a bit of honey and it is great combo.

OK, I washed and conditioned withthe Hello Hydration again this morning, used The Conditioner leave in and put in a pretty generous amount of Curls Whipped Cream and my hair feels much better than yesterday.  I also think it's time to change my Aquasana filter.  I think I'll go for a trim, too.

And I think you used too much avocado. Normally the recipe(I believe) calls for one avocado(maybe two), half a banana, yogurt, honey, olive oil(or whatever oil of choice)and lecithin. Try it again with less avocado and see what happens.

I agree about too much avocado--I think that avocado represents protein in the recipie, which means that you added a whole lot of protein to a moisturizing treatment. My hair also doesn't react very well to a lot of banana. I do like honey, and my hair likes olive oil or castor oil.

If I do another treatment, I'll probably just go with the olive and honey.

LOVE the styling butter cream and frizz pudding. I have pics of when I used them in my yahoo folder under "summer 06". I've tried the DevaBrown No poo and OneC. I don't really know what the difference is between the two(devacare and devabrown, beyond one being for brown hair), but I really like the OneC now. At first it took some getting use to, but it's cooperating much better with my hair than Elucence is right now. My hair has been really fickle lately.

I hope this stuff works out for you.

Me too!  I don't think I really want to repurchase the Elucence.  I'm hoping this OneC works better.  I know I just ordered but I keep hoping the mail person will pull up with my box, lol!  :excited:
