Welcome to the boards!  I use Qhemet Biologics Olive Cream Instant Detangler every day.  It can be purchased online at You are not allowed to view links.Register or Login
www.qhemetbiologics.com
.  I also deep condition once a week with Curl Junkie's Hibiscus and Banana Deep Fix Moisturizing Hair Conditioner.  That can be found at You are not allowed to view links.Register or Login
www.naturallycurly.com
.  Finally, I co-wash about once a week with a bottle half filled Suave Milk and Honey Conditioner and half filled with water.  Or VO5 Strawberries and Cream Conditioner.

On my hair after conditioning, I've also started to add a little flaxseed gel and glycerin.  I add about 2-3 flaxseed gel tablets to my entire head and mix in about an equal amount of glcyerin.  It works wonders on my ends.  I think I've found the cure for dry ends.  Also, my hair is soaking wet when I apply this mixture, and I smooth it in completely.

I have found that if I wash and condition my hair and my curls still feel limp than I have over conditioned  my hair.  All of the moisture that I have added to my hair is just weighing my hair down.  What I would do is use a clarifying shampoo (which I do every 2-3mths anyway) to get out any extra or old product.

I forgot to mention that all of the moisturizers that I talked about above are all natural products made by black people specifically for curly hair.

I really like Wave Nouveay Moisture Mist spray.  It's CG friendly and it leaves no greasy residue or stickiness or filminess.  It dries completely but leaves a nice sheen and a soft, well-moisturized sensation when you touch it.  It even pumps up the curl.  Its good for 2nd day hair that is looking and feeling dried out.

I use the following things

Pantene Relaxed and Natural oil Moisturizer (on wet or dry hair)

I also make a spritz using the following things

2 tablespoon castor oil
2 tablespoon olive oil or grapeseed oil
1 tablespoon glycerin

I add all the oils to a spray bottle (about a 8-10 oz one)....put a couple squirts of conditioner (suave milk and honey or the coconut is good) and fill the rest of the bottle up with infusium 23.  Shake it all up to get mixed well...and when my hair is really dry...I spray some of that on it....then follow with the pantene oil moistureizer and my hair is good to go after that.

I also have used Stay-sof-fro and that works great as well.
extremely thick, kinky, coils and curls that have a mind of thier own.

Yeah, its only available online.  But, I forgot to mention, Giovanni Direct is AWESOME, and its getting to the point that I prefer it over the online brands.  You can find it at health food stores.
