So, I used the Shea Alma Butter that I got from this site (You are not allowed to view links.Register or Login
www.afroveda.com
) and I'm LOVING this stuff!!!  I used it on some twists that I spritzed and then add this on top to seal in the moisture and I also used it a bit on my scalp.  The next day, my scalp was nice, and my twists were nice and shiney and not greasy at all.  This stuff was nice, absorbed well and was only $10 for an 8oz jar.  Its nice and fluffy and honestly it didn't have much of a smell (for those of you that are smell sensative).

I have two other products that I recieved from this site that I havn't used yet, but as soon as I do, I'll give a review of them also.

I'd give this product 4stars for now...it might go up to 5 stars when I use it a bit more.
extremely thick, kinky, coils and curls that have a mind of thier own.

Karen's Body Beautiful left my hair a little too soft and I can see overconditioning becoming a liklihood if I use it a few more times.

Qhemet's honey thing was a sticky, greasy mess.

I love the hair milk under the KBB Hair Cream. It's not overly moisturizing for my coarse, kinky, thick 4a hair. It's wonderful. lol

I've never used the olive/honey hydrating balm alone but it is divine mixed with the alma/olive heavy cream.

I'm bumping this thread because I finally ordered and tried Elucence MBC and I think I'm in love! Yall were not lying about the detangling properties. I also like the smell, like a faint peach scent, very light. I used it as a deep treatment after clarifying.

Darcy's Botanicals (Etsy).  I'm loving the Madagascar Vanilla Styling Creme.

I ordered some  products from the Dr. Bronner's website - Shikakai Citrus Conditioning Rinse and Lavendar Coconut Leave-In Conditioning and Styling Creme. So far I like both products. The Shikakai Rinse softens and smooths my hair post-shampoo, plus I love the smell. The Leave-in is too thin for me to use by itself, but it works nicely when mixed with shea butter.

I finally got my hands on some TIGI Moisture Maniac!  I can't wait to try it.
I recently bought some new Deep Treats.  I used Curl Junkie Hibiscus and Banana Deep Fix.  I LOVE IT!  I also bought the Curl Junkie Curl Rehab moisturizing treatment but I haven't used that one yet.
I tried JessiCurl Weekly Deep Conditioning Treatment.  I liked it better than the JessiCurl TooShea.  I bought the TooShea months ago and never bought anything else until I bought the Weekly Deep Conditiong Treatment 2 weeks ago.
But if I had to pick a winner right now I would say that Curl Junkie is winning out.
cottony, very coily, silky in places, definite 'S' and 'O' pattern

Inecto pure coconut oil conditioner.
I know a lot of folks over at NC.com use this and apparently it's quite expensive in the States I think I've read between $5-6 at Ulta Anyway it's cheap as hell here in the UK So I have stocked up.
I initially used it for 'work hair' ( pulled back in a bun) because it's cheap, then have used it the last few times  I've left my hair out and I really like it, it's light but moisturising and the fact it costs less then £2 is a HUGE  bonus

Inecto pure coconut oil conditioner

I wanna try that but I can't find it.

@alaskanmama, I tried the Honey & Aloe Curling Jelly, and it works pretty decently...there's just an overwhelming scent and it leaves my neck and forehead kinda greasy/sticky.  Other than that, its an ok product.  The results I've gotten are similar to KCCC or any other snotty textured gel, but greasy.  Instead of using it for wash n go's, I use it for ponytails or on the ends of my braids.  I'd probably only buy it again if it was on the swap board or something.

I've tried a few new drugstore conditioners:

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Care Curl Around Style-Starting Daily Conditioner: My sister bought this for me some time ago and I never used it b/c of the cones.  I'm over that so I finally tried it a couple months ago.  It has a slimy, but thick consistency, spreads well and has lots of slip.  Super clean scent too.  After rinsing my hair feels really smooth and silky.  When I'm in braids, I use it as a leave in for my ends (with coconut oil)...and when my hair is loose I use it as a stand alone styler...and the results are plump, shiny clumps of curls.  I would use again for sure.

Aussie Sun Touched Shine Conditioner: I bought this thinking it would be as moisturizing and slippery as Aussie Moist....it's NOT.  I don't know what  ingredient my hair doesn't like...but this stuff makes my hair brittle and it has no slip at all.  Will never buy again.

L'Oreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss Moisturizing Conditioner w Royal Jelly:  I bought this b/c the commercial kept coming on, lol...and it's an OK conditioner.  It does soften and moisturize, but it has 0 slip...so it's not good for detangling.  I have to detangle with a lighter conditioner, rinse, then apply this and comb it though.  B/c of that, I probably won't buy again...but it does have good conditioning effects overall.  It smells good too (johnson's baby lotion).  I'll probably end up using it as a DT base conditioner. You are not allowed to view links.Register or Login

I have fallen in love with Paul Mitchell. For years I have been co-washing my hair everyday, unless I had braided or straight hair. I have been getting really tired of leaving the house with wet hair in the morning and my stylist suggested using PM Awapuhi Moisture Mist instead of in the shower. Curlies this stuff is great. It has all the elements I look for, decent price ($7.50), nice condition/moisture, stretchability (I hate expensive products that I have to use a lot of for it to work), and it smells good. After damping my hair I apply a mixture of PM Round Trip (a liquid curl definer) and Super Skinny Serum. This combo works well.

I wanna try that but I can't find it.

you know what you're probably not missing anything cause it really isn't that special I just like the fact that I can get my hands on something so easily and cheap that a lot of US curlies are paying a lot for... it makes a change...lol
