I see she has duplicates of several things...so i don't hold that against her.  An she has some of my personal faves.  But damn, even still, that's a lot of shit.

(How's her hair look?  Proof is in the pudding, I guess.)

Her hair looks great, but good gracious!

Now don't front! How many of you recognize the exact product brand names without even seeing the label - just by the bottle design and the top???

Who spots the following:

VO5 Conditioners
Creme of Nature
Aphogee (the new bottle design)
Organic Root Stimulator Lock & Twist Gel
Nature's Gate stuff
Blended Beauty (old bottle design)
Bed Head
Vaseline
Phyto
Jason
Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel
and random small bottles of homemade oil mixes...... :stir:

If you can spot all that - YOU'RE JUST AS SICK! LOL.

I wish all my stuff fit in the corner of my bathroom. My products are in Rubbermaid bins stacked in the corner of my bedroom. :-[ At first I had no idea what to do with my hair so I bought EVERYTHING. I can't bear to throw away something I paid money for so I trade them, give them away or use them for other things (shampoos get used for hand laundry, conditioners for shaving, etc.) My cousins bring shopping bags when they come visit me. :P

Now that I have my favorites I buy a bunch of them because sooner or later they will change the formula or discontinue it. >:( I'm the same way with bras--when I find one I like I buy ten of them muths.

I have 14 family size bottles or Daily Defense Tender Apple Conditioner. :-X

i don't have it that bad...but i've seen a lot of other stashes that might put this to shame.

i have a rubbermaid bin in my linen closet with my stuff, and then some of it is on a shelf in the same closet.  then i have a few other things randomly placed throughout different rooms, because i do not have time to tote stuff back and forth from one room to the next if i need it.  i remember when i first kicked shampoo, I would wash hand washables with the shampoo too.  eventually i ended up giving it all away.  i thought i was the only one that did this, but i see i'm not alone.  conditioner is good to use ESPECIALLY in a pinch when you run out of shaving cream or forgot to buy more during a trip to the store.

one of my relaxed friends told me last winter when i mentioned it was my 3 year anniversary that she still had some of the appliances i gave her.  she also couldn't believe it had been 3 years since i went natural too.  that time really does fly by.

and i hate when products get discontinued or they change the formula.  then they try to front like they only "redesigned" the bottle.

speaking of which, does anybody know if suave still makes their "healthy curls" conditioner?  I bought 2 bottles over the holidays while i was out of town to try and haven't been able to find it anywhere since.  i was feeling that conditioner too.

Congratulations!  Your hair looks great in your avatar.

The next time my husband complains about my stash I'm pointing him to this thread.  I got so sick of trying stuff that didn't work when I already had things that did that I've really cut back on products.  Of course, the summer is coming up and that could all change.

I love these product stash pictures! I've been meaning to take one myself. My stash is not as bad as it was though... I gave away alot of stuff thast didn't work for me. I can't imagine just throwing stuff I paid good money for in the trash. If I can find someone who'll use it then I have no problem with giving it away.

I totally agree with lisa125. You have to stock up on store-bought products because you never know! I just discovered that African Pride Leave-in Conditioner works very much like my beloved (now reformulated) African Royale Daily Doctor. But I think it was discontinued before I even started using it.  :-\
