I know I'm late bit I'm loving some maxi dresses too.  I've managed to find some really pretty ones that aren't super long since I'm currently reduced to flats. I've had to revamp my wardrobe to find petite/ short inseam pants and jeans...oh and the flat gladiator sandals have saved the day on more than one occasion!  My knee may be in recovery but I don't have to look homely!

I found the most gorgeous pink, fuschia and black paisley haltertop max dress that *doesn't* have a huge billowy skirt.  Love it!

I found a pretty turqoiuse, purple and brown tie dye print that has just enough swing. I don't like the ones that look like you're wearing a crinoline slip...a little too hippy chick for me.

Ladies, please post pictures when you wear your maxi's..

Here's one of many maxi's that I have..I purchased this one
last year and just wore it about 2 weeks ago..Lol
I'm more into them this year...
This maxi is full and heavy in terms to material and long...
Not a favorite of mine, but I received quite a few compliments..

Sorry that the picture isn't very clear...

Plus-Sized ladies who wear Maxi dresses, are you top heavy?  Is the dress flattering on your buxom figure?  I think those dresses are really cute and summery, but I'm a 44H.  I may look as if I'm wearing a mu-mu.  :'(

I'm a 44DDD (which I think is really an 44F) and I always wear them with a little shrug over them...otherwise I feel like I'm hanging out.  I have a few of them...a jean one for when I want to dress it down with some flat sandles...and a few dressier ones for work with wedge heel sandles.  The key for me is finding the maxi's that have more of a empire waist...for some reason those work well.  Also...I can't do the strapless ones....that's just ASKING for trouble!

Super cute, mistytee! Love the sandals too.

I received a few maxi's from Target.com (some are still on backorder). The one I've tried on so far was still not long enough for me.  :( That one will be more of house-type dress. We'll see with the others.

Thanks Jazziand Peajai.. :D

Peajai - Those sandals are what I call "Cute Sandals"only...
meaning it doesn't require a lot of walking when I wear them,
because they hurt like hell...Lol  I've tried for the longest to break
them in, but the leather just won't give!!!!.  I have a few more sandals
that I call "Cute Sandals"...Lol
Dh laugh at me, because he knows the ones that hurt my feet...

What we do...to be cute!!!!

Here's another maxi...
We were at a family dinner...
Not having a good hair day, so I wore a headband...
It seems my hair hasn't quite adjusted to my trim..
