Double Detangler Comb
« on: June 04, 2009, 06:03:34 PM »
Do we think something like this would work in our hair? The "Double Detangler" double row of teeth comb.

On one had it seems like it could be a nightmare. On the other hand, it may be quite effective. For $25.00 though, I'll have to pass for now....or at least wait for the drugstore knock off.

Seems like it would work.  I saw the reviews and I almost want to try it.  But not at $25.00...I'll have to wait for a sale or something.

I don't know. The only reason the Denman works  for me is because the tines are a little soft, and they have more give than my hair does. That looks like it might be hard plastic - which would be a bad thing, I think. I would definitely be post step 2 in my detangling process, and I think the tines are too wide, for that to be useful...

This is my favorite comb and it does a great job at collecting all of the shed hair and adding volume.  Wide toothed combs just don't do it for me.  I think if you have fine hair, it works.  Thick hair, not so much.

It looks interesting but doubtful that it will ever be offered here overseas....

I would have to see it from another angle but the teeth don't look like they are spaced out enough for thick hair.
