Curls by Sisters Smith
« on: June 16, 2009, 11:37:15 AM »
Ok, I am still using her products. You can not beat the price points.

I am wearing a twist out today, that I did on blow dried hair. I used the Butter Me Up hair butter. I did my hair on Friday night. My hair is stil silky smooth, without extra application of any product.

Normally my hair does not respond to butters (specifically shea butter) this well, but her formulation is good for my dry hair.

I've been eyeing her products for a while....and I'm curious about the wet set pudding.  But everyone that I've ever seen do a review on it they always either have to add stuff to it to increase the slip, or they use it in conjection with something else to make it better.

Anyone else using Curls by Sisters Smith?
extremely thick, kinky, coils and curls that have a mind of thier own.

I love the Quick Fix Spray. The Wet Set Pudding flaked and made my scalp itch. Maybe it had a negative reaction to my leave-in...

My experience was horrible.  It was like applying hot candle wax to my hair, Yuck!

Ditto. Quick Fix was ok. Wet Set was wack.

The wet set pudding is not good for my hair. I have a jar I am finishing, and I use it for twists. It doesn't do much for my hair at all.

I didn't like it at all, it did nothing for my hair.

I have the Wet set, Quick Fix and the leave in.  It is just ok.  I will not be buying anything from her again.  I like Karen's products MUCH better.
