Something new
« on: July 29, 2009, 09:03:52 PM »
So this week, I was expecting to work on my beading projects.  I have two that are close to completion and wanted to get some opinions from the gallery  :) Having problems recallin how to load the second set of pics so check back tomorrow.

This is the closest I have ever come to repeating a design, but this was specifically requested by a friend and I refused to part with my original.  ;D

I actually just visited your fotki and saw this beautiful necklace.  You have some serious beading skills Alaskanmama.  Your friend will be thrilled.

Thanks Imla, I am waiting to fit her because I want to ensure that it it sits in the right place on her neck.
I feel like I am stagnant in my beading, I am surrounded by all of these beautifule beads semi-precious stones, pearls, wood, crystals and silver pieces.  It's as if I were rubbing two pieces of wood together I could not get fire even if one piece were a match.    So your compliment is appreciated.

Thanks Jazzi, maybe I should consider changing the name  :lol:I am still working the earrings and braclet out in my head (she had to have the trio).  See, that is the reason you never allow anyone to have power over you, they take it to the extreme.  :o

I am proud to display a couple of new pieces to include the completed product which I began this thread with  :)  It took me nearly two and a half months to motivate myself to finish it, but I did, I have and it was well worth the wait.

I am ready to take my hobby to the next level (yahoo)  ;D take a glance and tell me what you think of my evolution.

Wow, it has been a minute since I created anything and posted it here. This is a necklace I made for a charity auction, I used my DELTA influence to give it relevance.
