New BC... any style advice??

So I BC'd and I am rocking a curly TWA . I really love my natual hair. I can wait to try new styles!! I was wondering if there are any different styles I can do if I have a TWA. I tried to slick my hair down and do a "Billy Holiday" look but it just curled back up. Right now I wash and go every morning. I know thats not going to work for much longer since its getting cold outside. I was wondering if any of you ladies can tell me what is a good length to start experimenting with different styles? Or maybe some style options??

Congrats on your BC! Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize. Work that twa with clips, head bands, scarves, hats, etc. Comb coils would work as a styling option.

With a TWA, the most you can do to jazz it up is comb coils. By the time you get to 6in or so, you'll be able to do a mini version of just about any natural style there is
And congrats on your BC!

congratulations on your chop! have fun experimenting with styles. when i had enough hair to grab i used to do 2 strand twists. i did my first set in march of 2006 and big chopped in december 0f 2005 if that helps. until then i just wore a lot of headbands and used clips like the other ladies suggested. i think i picked my hair out once after one month post BC and never again!!!!
i used to wash my hair at night mostly so it would have a chance to airdry indoors in somewhat of a warm environment and then add moisture as necessary the next day when i woke up.
i never understood the whole concept of comb coils but did finger coils in spring of 2007. i could never duplicate the style later on so that was a once in a lifetime type thing for me.

Congrats on the BC. Like others have said, accessories are your best friend at TWA stage.

Thanks Shortycocoa and Miss T!! I have seen a lot of flower clips on different pics and I recently found out that they are really easy to make. I am gonna make some and try those out! I have my 10 year class reunion this weekend! So I can't wait to rock the new duo! Thanks ladies for the advice!!
