IC Fantasia Stinks
« on: October 11, 2009, 10:00:20 AM »
No really, it does.  Or maybe it just reacts badly with me?  It smells good going on but after a while, it has this smell that can only be described as WEIRD.  And it stays on my hair even after washing.

Hmm...I've never had that strong of a reaction to it, but you're right - it kind of stinks of chemicals in a way.

My experimentation with Fantasia IC was pretty short-lived.  I haven't used it since spring/summer of 2008 but that is DEFINITELY weird.  Do you think they could've changed the formula and added in some things that your hair doesn't agree with?

LOL!  Is it a mildew-like smell?  When water gets to IC it can make it smell like sour dish towel.  Cantu stinks too!  I once had a jar that smelled like fishy cooch!  That's another reason I don't use that stuff anymore. :yuck:

My Cantu has an underlying chemical smell.  I'm glad to know I'm not the only one.
I keep wanting to try it again, but that smell turns my stomach.

I think that may be it.  I'm not fooling with that stuff anymore.  I stopped using it and apparently forgot why.  I remember now, lol!  I should write this stuff down.

I tried Cantu once, never noticed any weird smell but it didn't do anything for my hair, either.
