Taliah Waajid Enhancing Herbal Conditioner
« on: October 21, 2009, 12:14:56 am »
I really wanted to like this product because it smells delicious.  It's the smell that my Cantu wants to be without the nasty chemical after-smell (is that even a word?).
Unfortunately, it was just okay.  It didn't make my hair feel softer or more moisturized.  It gave my hair a light coating, which is actually one of the things it says it does on the bottle.  So, truth in advertising.
I'm going to finish the bottle, but I don't think I'll be purchasing this again.  I would still be interested in trying something else in her line though.
It would probably would work better for someone else's hair type.

Thanks for the review.  I've heard good things about this condish and the African Healing Oyl (I think Jazzi likes this oil).  They also have a new kids' line that I'm waiting for to show up at the BSS.  I can't seem to find the ingredients online anywhere.

Thanks for the review Pixie!  I'm in love with her hair oil and was curious about the other stuff.

Imla, that oil is great, especially during cold season.  It smells good and it works!

My hair isn't exactly crazy about oil so it may work better for you guys.

Imla:  Did you want the ingredients to the Herbal Conditioner or the children's line?

Hey Pixie,

Thanks for the review on the Taliah Waajid Conditioner. I always wanted to try it but I saw it had beeswax in it (maybe this is good for doing twist/braid outs????). Normally conditioners typically coat my hair and cause it to dry out normally except AOWC. However, I tried the Protective Mist Bodifier and it seems way better (all natural, no beesewax). I works the best for me if I put a tiny bit of castor oil, followed by shea butter on my twists. It is also awesome for detangling. Not sure how well it work on hair that is out and unprotected, though.  :)

P.S. If you give it a try, don't get the medicated one, it has propolyn glycol and is a little drying.

Thanks, Cookielyn.  Castor oils seems like the only oil my hair gives the time of day to.
