Shescentit Avocado Conditioner
« on: December 21, 2009, 02:48:40 pm »
This conditioner is W O N D E R F U L!!!!!   Great slip and SUPER nourishing, conditioning, and shine enhancing.  I prefer to use it most as an after shampoo DT (with or without heat, but always w a plastic cap) or a rinse out, and it makes a decent leave in too.  The ingredients are great, so if your hair loves oil GET IT!!!  My only complaint is the scent is a bit cheap (think dollar store stuff), but other than that, it's great.  6.99 for 8oz, 11.99 for 16oz.  The shipping is reasonable and FAST! 5 stars!

Thanks Jazzi, as for the cheap scent you could always add essential oil to it right?

So I ordered 2 big bottles during Christmas time and I'm wondering why my hair isn't getting the same results...the ingredients have changed!

Old List: avocado oil, vitamin e, grape seed oil, castor oil, glycerine, cetyl alcohol, coconut oil, citirc acid, germaben, water, stearalkonium chloride, phosphoric acid, fragrance, color.

New List: Purified Water, Avocado Oil, Aloe barbadensis leaf extract, Grape seed oil, Glycerin, Behentrimonium Methosulfate (and) Cetearyl Alcohol,Coconut oil, Panthenol, Germall Plus, fragrance, color.

The new formula is no where near as nourishing as the old.  It's more of a leave in than the great treatment conditioner it once was.  I know for sure I won't reorder.

5 stars have gone to 3.

Aw, man, that's jacked. Seems like everyone whose products I use regularly are either hiking up their prices and/or changing ingredients in their products resulting in not-so-much hair love. My feelings are hurt now...
