Bees Wax As A Sealant For Protecting Ends
« on: May 25, 2010, 05:07:42 PM »
I bought bees wax last week and decided to add it to my regimen as a sealant. I use it while twisting. What do you guys think of this? Have you use bees wax?

So far I like it because it's not greasy. I haven't found build up to be a problem.

What have you guys experienced? Pros, Cons, Tips?

Thanks guys

When I still had my TWA, I used beeswax as a sealant in the fall/winter. It worked great for me. It never occurred to me to use it in the spring/summer b/c all I used then were leave-in conditioners. Glad you like it, though.

I used it once when I did some micro-twists, only on my ends, and I didn't really care for it, too sticky and left my ends feeling coated. HTH

Thanks guys. I haven't shampoo'd yet. I've only used it on my ends and I hope it comes clean easily. :)
